Privacy Policy — LazyPanda Full Page Capture

LazyPanda Full Page Capture is designed to create full-page screenshots and export them as PNG or PDF files. The extension handles website content only when the user deliberately clicks the extension button to start a capture.

Data handled

The extension temporarily handles:

  • visible webpage content being captured
  • screenshot image tiles
  • page title
  • current page URL/domain
  • page dimensions
  • locally stored export preferences such as filename pattern and default PDF page size

How data is used

Website content, current-page information, and screenshot data are used only to:

  • perform the user-requested full-page capture
  • display the local preview
  • generate the requested PNG or PDF
  • create an export filename using the user's selected naming pattern

Local processing

LazyPanda does not send captured webpage content, screenshots, URLs, page titles, or export preferences to the developer or to third-party servers.

Capture processing happens locally in the user's browser.

Retention

Temporary capture sessions remain locally in the browser until:

  • the user deletes the capture from the preview page, or
  • the extension later performs its cleanup process for sessions older than approximately 24 hours when the extension starts or a new capture begins

Export preferences remain in Chrome local storage until changed, reset, or the extension is removed.

Data sale and advertising

LazyPanda does not:

  • sell user data
  • transfer user data for advertising
  • use captured data for advertising
  • use analytics trackers
  • allow the developer or other humans to read captured webpage data

Permissions

activeTab

Provides temporary access to the selected active tab only after the user explicitly clicks the extension.

scripting

Allows LazyPanda to measure and scroll the selected webpage, handle supported nested scrolling content, reduce repeated fixed/sticky elements during capture, and restore the page afterward.

storage

Stores local user preferences such as filename pattern and PDF page size.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

User data is used only for LazyPanda's single purpose: user-initiated full-page webpage capture, local preview, and PNG/PDF export.
